THE VACCUM IN MY CHEST

This is the day when I recall,
You and me holding hands,
Walking side by side
Adapting to life's new strech,
Oh! How I feel the vaccum in my chest.

This is the day when I recall,
When just your face was enough,
To wash away the strains of the weary day,
And, our evenings that were still gleeful, even with all that we vent.
Oh! How I feel the vaccum in my chest.

This is the day when I recall,
Our beautiful visit to the beach,
And,  how we talked for hours, saying absolutely nothing!
The ice-cream we shared, the street food, and, how you devoured everything I made,
Oh! How I feel the vaccum in my chest.

This is the day when I recall,
When you covered double the distance,
To drop me to my hostel, you didn't take a NO,
It was a norm that you had set,
Oh! How I feel the vaccum in my chest.

This is the day when I recall,
That we were so cozy on the berths,
Literally crumpled, and still comfortable,
I could have gone along, till the next morning did abate.
Oh! How I feel the vaccum in my chest.

This is the day when I recall,
How you pampered me, like a kid,
Fitting my fist in your hands, taking me wherever I said,
Oh! How I feel the vaccum in my chest.

And, now when I say, let those days come again,
You say that you just can't wait,
And, I am still feeling the vaccum in my chest...
